Casting of Four from Divergent

Happy Friday everyone! Or at least it was a happy Friday. Today I got an email from First Jumper (a Divergent fan base group) that Theo James has been casted as Four.

.........

WHAT THE HECK?!?!?  I think Lionsgate must have been high or have never even read the book! Theo freaking James?!?! You have got to be kidding me . Four is described as being a 18 year old boy NOT a 30 year old man. He's also described as not an incredibly handsome man but he's also not described as old and with brown eyes. Tobias's eyes are a MIDNIGHT BLUE not brown.

Lets see some more pictures of the new Four now shall we?
I just can't see Four. I just...no.

This picture is more of the Four I pictured. Not handsome but still nice to look at. And he has a nice smile.

Aha! Now THAT is Four! This picture makes me exited to see him play Four. He looks young here. Now we're getting somewhere!

Yeah, guess I can see these two having chemistry. They look good together. I just hope they can play the part.

I'm having mixed thoughts on Four. Theo is cute but I always pictured the Host star Max Irons as the daring Dauntless. Either him or Drew Roy who is so cute and also plays in Falling Skies as a kick butt soldier who is fighting against Aliens who invade our world.  Here they are below:
Max Irons
Drew Roy

On the Pile

Hello people! I  I have a ton of books waiting for me on my to-read pile so I thought I could share them with you so you can have a chance to read them before I do. When I do get around to reading them, come back to book talk so we can...talk. Okay, here they are:

I've heard a TON of hype about this book. I'm really not sure what to think since I'm not a fan of vampires and such but I'm giving it a shot because the movie is coming out in August (and the trailer looks good).

I saw the movies (I know, I know. Should have read the book first) and I thought they were awesome. The main characters seemed real and the whole idea is incredible. Very high on the To-Read pile.

The cover is beautiful and it caught my eye when I was wondering through Barnes and Noble. I watched the book trailer and was immediately hooked. I'm going to read Requiem, Delirium Stories, and then the Breeders, and THEN I'll get around to this one. Tell me what you thought of this one.

I love the fact that the cover has a girl on it and the reader assumes,"Oh, this book is going to be in a girl's POV" and then BAM! Boy's POV. I find it funny and that was the real reason I wanted to read the book.

I saw this on an Epic Reads video chat and I thought it sounded great. You don't see many books that have a plot that occurs over a twenty-four hour period.

The first chapter got me hooked! What can I say?

I'm SO excited to read this because I keep hearing only  good things about this. My English teacher recommended it to me as well as some of my bookish friends.

I'm IN LOVE with the Chemical Garden Trilogy (except for the end book...Talk about that soon)  and this reminded me of them. If you haven't read the Chemical Garden Trilogy please please PLEASE do it. It will rip your heart out and tear it to pieces but it is so worth it.

The only reason why I haven't read this yet is because the third book comes out in April (I think) and I 'd like to read the entire series at once.

*fails around* This COVER!! I'm a die hard fan of The Mara Dyer Trilogy so this book brings so many feels to surface. This comes out on Oct. 22 to my disappointment but I have to re-read the books anyway so... :)

I'm going to call this a novella because it's full of little stories that I'm dying to read . It's actually sitting next to me right now!

The cover looks great, the synopsis got me hooked (even though I can't remember what it says at the moment) and honestly? I'm in the mood for something other than dystopian.

This reminds me of a summer book so I'm going to wait until May to get my hands on  this one.

I have it sitting on my shelf and I keep staring at it so I will have to read this soon.

My friend is currenly reading this and  I see her hiding smiles during class when she's reading and tells me that the book is really funny and also heartfelt as well.

I saw a snippet on Epic Read's Twitter account for this book and I fell in LOVE.

Tris. Four. The factions. Four. I  can't deal with the excitement.  This comes out the same day as the conclusion to  The Mara Dyer Trilogy. Probably reading this first though...

I devoured The Selection (1st book) in one night . It was that good! Yes, it was a little cheesy at times but the main character is endearing and Prince Maxon makes me want to be in Illea.

EVERYONE I talk to says this book is incredible. I don't know what the big deal is but I want to. I'm thinking this book is going to be read somewhere around late May.

The cover kinda creeps me out and I like the huge font . I  read a little bit of the book through Epic Reads and I liked what I read. End of story.

And lastly, Lola and the Boy next Door.  My friend has been on my case to read this book and  even though the plot sounds drab, I'm game to read it anyway.

That's it! Anything you want to add to that? Comment below and I'll check it out.
P.s. Don't recommend the Maze Runner Series or the Twilight Series. I've tried that. Let's say it didn't end well.

Fun Posts about some books

Just some fun pictures I thought some Divergent and/or Hunger Games fans would enjoy. I made them myself so I hope you like them!
